Scope & Background
A planned cultural archiving track to record consenting elderly singers, traditional musicians, and village elders sharing folk ballads, seasonal harvest songs, and oral histories.
Proposed Field Objectives
- Record traditional Pahari folk songs and oral verses with explicit elder consent
- Transcribe dialect lyrics with bilingual Hindi and English context notes
- Build an open cultural reference archive for students and local communities

This initiative is currently in the proposed planning stage. Uttarkunth does not publish invented participant counts or fabricated field outcomes; verified milestones will be recorded here only after on-ground cohorts complete real fieldwork.
